Gogadoll welcomes all willing hearts & hands to help out with our convention. We have a few odd jobs to fill, and we'll make it worth your while...
Pre-Registered Volunteers:
- For completing 3 hours of volunteer duty, we offer a refund of 1/2 of your paid registration fee.
- For completing 6 hours of volunteer duty, we offer a full refund of your entire paid registration fee.
$65 Full-Weekend Passes, Paid at Door:
- For completing 4 hours of volunteer duty, we offer a refund of 1/2 of your paid registration fee.
- For completing 8 hours of volunteer duty, we offer a full refund of your entire paid registration fee.
$40 (Saturday)/$35 (Sunday) Single-Day Passes, Paid at Door:
- For completing 2 hours of volunteer duty, we offer a refund of 1/2 of your paid registration fee.
- For completing 4 hours of volunteer duty, we offer a full refund of your entire paid registration fee.
Refunds will be issued after service is completed.
Finish up a few hours of service, and take your refund home with you!
Here is a sampling of jobs to fill (including, but not limited to):
- registration desk
- badge-checkers
- badge-checkers
- ushers for the panels and ceremonies
- "go-fers" for random errands
- guards for contest-tables
- attendants for special events such as the cocktail party, etc.
- video room attendants
- dealers' room attendants & assistants
- security
If you are interested in helping out, please email Jan at volunteers@gogadoll.com after you’ve finished pre-registering. Please include the following info in your email:
- Your full name & badge-name (if you have one). For pre-registered, please include the date you sent your payment
- Your age. Please, 18+ older only! (We will check your ID once you get here.)
- Your email address.
When I’ve got your basic information, I’ll send you a more detailed request to find out what jobs you do/don’t want to do, and when you can/can’t work. We want our volunteers to be able to enjoy the convention and go to all the events they want—so the earlier you sign up, the more time we’ll have to adjust your schedule.
